HopHopFood is a public-interest association that fights against food waste and food insecurity through digital solutions. Since 2018, via its application, nearly one million products have been saved from waste and donated, mainly to people in need.
THE HOPHOPFOOD SOLUTION:
Faced with the enormity of food waste in France and the growing difficulties in accessing food, three friends – Michel, Sibylle, and Jean-Claude – founded HopHopFood in 2016 to make it easier to donate food to those most in need.
Their solution, “solidarity against food waste,” connects those who have surplus food with those who need it, through a mobile smartphone application.
HopHopFood provides a concrete answer to this inconsistency, encouraging everyone to take part in the fight against food waste and for solidarity!
